I graduated from MHS (Middletown High School in Middletown, Ohio) and was on the Drill Team (dance line) I played no instrument even though it was required to be in the band…I slipped through
I graduated from Miami University with a Theater Degree and Dance Minor, from United Theological Seminary with my Master of Divinity, and from Wesley Theological Seminary with a Doctorate in Spirituality. Currently I am the United Methodist Campus Minister at West Virginia University and am married to Rick also a United Methodist Minister. I have 3 children, Rachel (’06), Stephen (’09), and David (’12).
In addition to directing and choreographing several theater productions in Ohio, I was the choreographer for the color guard at Odessa-Montour Falls High School in New York State.
Rick graduated from Haverling Central High School in Bath, New York where he won the John Phillip Sousa Award. He played the Baritone for the Haverling Blue…a competition band which won many prestigious awards and played yearly at halftime for the Buffalo Bills games. His sister was the Head Majorette and his brother was the Drum Major as well.
