Freshman Step Up
March 10th

Annette Sovastion began the meeting with officer introductions as well as our traveling medical staff.

Following a short PowerPoint covering the band over the course of a year, the students were dismissed into the choir room with Band Officers and Section Leaders for a question and answer session.

Mr. Reed reviewed the packet of forms with the parents and emphasized the green registration form. Please note there is a change of mailing address…please mail forms to P.O. Box. 496.

Fees can be made on a payment plan or in full. Student accounts were reviewed. These accounts are set up for each student as a savings account that can be added to at anytime. There will be opportunities for students to earn money through various fundraisers throughout the year.

Each of the Committee Chairs were introduced and the committees were explained to the parents.

There will be a percussion clinic beginning Mid-April with tryouts May 19th.

Mr. Reed reviewed the handbook, which can be found updated on the website, as well as the July summer camp schedule.

Following the meeting students and parents enjoyed refreshments and casual conversation. Welcome Freshman students and parents!
